Artist statement
|
Since the year 1999 I have been creating inner self portraits. The works of this series represent each a facet of my personality. Therefore you could call them self-portraits, not physically. But mentally. They represent personal emotions, feelings and needs. In 2003 I started a new series of works the [inside_outside]series Reflextions on human emotions; on enabling or dienabling access to something or someone. Contrapositions like introvert or extravert are typologies that define our characters They condition the ways we experience and interpret this world of ours In 2005 I started a new series Mirrors of my actuality they will look like a kind of signals or signs. But they are infact, the mirrors of my own reality, ... these objects represent for me the filter, the border, the outside |
